Once upon a time, in a small town, lived a boy named Russ Halsey. Russ, or Hals Russey, was always finding himself in different kinds of predicaments at school.

One sunny and lively morning, Russ decided to trick his classmates. He hid a rubber spider in the teacher’s desk. When Mr. Smith, the kind and patient teacher, pulled out the drawer, she jumped back in shock, making the whole class burst into laughter.

Russie couldn’t stop smiling at his prank, but Mrs. Thompson looked at him seriously and said, "Russ Halsine, you need to be more responsible|You need to behave better, Russ Halsey|Russ Halsey, it’s important to act responsibly}."

Another day, Russ decided to bring his pet frog to school. He let his friends see it during break time, and everyone was excited. They called the frog Jumper.

But during reading time, Hopper hopped away from Russ’s desk. Chaos ensued as all the students tried to grab the frog. Mr. Smith scooped up the frog and carefully placed him in a jar.
